While looking at this list of ingredients, you may be thinking to yourself, how are these going to possibly condition my hair? So below I broke down each ingredient and all of the properties they contain to assist with conditioning and hydrating your hair as well as promoting hair growth.

CONDITIONING PROPERTIES
Egg- Protein, Omega 3, Fatty acids.
Honey- Antiseptic, humectant (retains/preserves moisture), adds shine.
Avocado- High in vitamin E, fatty acids.
Banana- Potassium, vitamins to thicken and grow hair.
Coconut Oil- Easily absorbed
Castor Oil- Promotes scalp circulation, penetrates hair follicles which helps to increase your hair growth. Prevents hair loss/breakage and strengthens hair.
Studies have shown that a deficiency in fatty acids can cause hair loss so many of the ingredients above especially avocados are rich in fatty acids so it will help to culminate hair loss. When conditioning your hair, you want to use the normal amount that you would use for your normal conditioner and because all of the ingredients are natural, the shelf life is not too long. You can use this batch for about a week (or freeze the remaining conditioner and use it as needed) but if you don’t, towards the end of the week the mixture will begin to turn brown because of the avocado. The color will not affect the performance of the conditioner and you can still use it and it will work exactly the same as it did when you first made it.
