My 2020 Goals

The New Year is like spring cleaning for your mind. It’s time to clear out old habits, set new goals, and start manifesting the things you wish to accomplish. Often, we set goals, start working towards them, have a bad day, slip up, and then wait until the next year to start over. Instead, we should view every day as an opportunity to start fresh and continue working towards our goals to cross them off our checklist.

Here we go, these are my goals for this year …

1. Travel More: I have a list of places I’d like to visit, and I hope to go on some local trips or even abroad soon, especially since I didn’t travel much last year after returning from my first 4-month solo trip to South America.

2. Write a business plan: I dream of owning farmland where artists, yogis, and others can gather to learn and create. I need to create a plan to make this dream a reality, so I can start applying for grants.

3. Convert a van: I want to explore more of the US and decide where I want to settle in the future. I plan to build out a van to have the freedom to travel around the US.

4. Focus on bettering my health: I started seeing a naturopathic doctor last year to address my painful periods and acne. I want to focus on understanding my body better and optimizing my health.

5. Save: Saving is an ongoing goal for me so that I can invest in my bigger goals.

6. Learn to speak Spanish: I want to prioritize practicing Spanish every day to become fluent.

7. Get stronger, physically, mentally, and spiritually: I believe in the powerful connection between the mind, body, and soul, and I want to continuously strengthen it.

8. Learn more about tending to the land: I want to learn how to have a symbiotic relationship with nature and mostly eat off of what I grow.

9. Sell products at a pop-up shop: I plan to sell my products at a pop-up shop around the holiday season to create face-to-face relationships with my community.

10. Learn more marketing strategies: I want to learn how to market my content and grow my community, even though marketing is not my forte.
