ORGANIC SWEETGRASS BRAID

Each Organic Sweetgrass Braid is 22-24 Inches long and was assembled with traditional Native American practices. Sweetgrass is seen as Mother Earth’s hair, each bundle has 7 strands of grass symbolizing the 7 grandfathers (love, respect, truth, wisdom, honesty, courage, and humility). While braiding each bundle together the mind, body, and spirit prayer was repeated during the process, since each bundle represents the mind, body, and spirit.

Ingredients – Sweetgrass (Hierochloe odorata) wrapped in organic cotton and hemp string.

How To Use – Sweetgrass can be used in many different ways. Traditionally this sacred plant is known for cleansing and inviting positive energy in a space.

Light the end of the Sweetgrass with a lighter or a match, and allow the braid to smolder and fill your space with the sweet scent. Although, sweetgrass doesn’t stay lit for long make sure to always use with a fire-safe holder or bowl and place it on a level, heat resistant surface. Ensure ash and embers are caught safely. Never leave burning plants unattended.  

End of Life –

The label is recyclable in paper recycling.

The organic cotton thread is 100% backyard compostable.
